Plant specialized metabolites (PSMs) are considerably diverse compounds with multifaceted roles in the adaptation of plants to various abiotic and biotic stresses. PSMs frequently secreted into rhizosphere, a small region around roots, where they facilitate interactions between soil microorganisms. shape host-specific rhizosphere microbial communities that potentially influence plant growth tolerance adverse conditions. mutants defective PSM biosynthesis contribute reveal each plant–microbiota rhizosphere. Recently, approaches have been used directly supply by vitro methods or through addition pots plants.
